A high-impact commercial aircraft exterior wrap and livery identity engineered for India's diagnostic aggregator Flebo.in, deployed across SpiceJet's commercial passenger fleet.
Engineering an aircraft livery requires extreme precision. Beyond visual impact, every design element must respect rigorous aviation constraints: avoiding passenger window cutouts, emergency egress pathways, and fuselage rivets while maintaining clear 300-meter tarmac readability.
Navigating the Complexities
Designing for a cylindrical, curved fuselage presents significant spatial distortion. Passenger windows and wings interrupt large graphics, and early iterations suffered from visual clutter. The team had to strip away extraneous icons, reposition the Flebo.in mark near the cockpit to avoid competing with SpiceJet's tail livery, and adhere strictly to zero-window text coverage.
Strategic Execution
Iterated across 30+ design loops with executive stakeholders to deliver an aerodynamic, decluttered design: bold hero typography ('COMPARE LABS & SAVE MORE') center-aligned with an oversized smartphone UI graphic showcasing diagnostic curves. Created dual production packages: technical 'Proof Check' blueprints with window and wing cutline overlays, and 1:1 scaled 'Print Masters' verified for projection mapping before final vinyl decal application.
